WASHINGTON (WUSA9) — A woman was sexually assaulted at knife point after police say she mistook a car for an Uber car Saturday in Northwest, D.C.

The incident happened in the 3500 block of Macomb Street NW between 3:30 and 4 a.m. Police say a woman entered a four door silver sedan, thinking it was an Uber car.

After entering the car, police say the driver sexually assaulted the woman at knife point.

The suspect is described by police as Middle Eastern male, early thirties, with black curly hair.
